Editors Keys

I got a new keyboard to assist my Photoshop skills. I got one off Ebay from Editors Keys. It’s a very nice one with color coding and very clear marking on the keys.

The keyboard has the main shortcuts that are default by Photoshop. That means, that if you’ve changed something from the default settings, it might not work 100% for you. But as far as I can tell, it works perfect for me.

The keyboard feels like a good quality keyboard and the keys have a reasonable response. The “F” and “J” keys have that ridge which makes it possible to find the correct hand-position without looking. That is very important for me as I don’t look at my hands as I type. However, it’s only an English keyboard, of course. This means that some of the keys are not correct when I have the Swedish keyboard set. This is mostly noticable when trying to making the brush larger and smaller or when I type. But changing to and English layout is only a mouse-click away.

All in all, a nice fun tool that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg.
